Thermoplastics Filament winding
Filament winding is used to produce composite structure by winding TWINTEX® rovings over a rotating mandrel.

Rovings are pulled from a package through a tensioning device and into an infrared or convection oven to heat the TWINTEX® from 200°C to 220°C.
A guide-eye positions the molten TWINTEX® rovings onto the rotating mandrel, forming the composite.
TWINTEX® efficiently reinforces plastic liners composed of the same thermoplastic.
