Why Shingle Recycling?

Each year in the United States, approximately 10 million tons** of recyclable shingles are removed from the roofs of homes and buildings.

When you choose a roofing contractor who is able to recycle torn-off shingles, you are helping the environment in two ways: Your old shingles don't end up in a landfill, and they get repurposed as pavement!

Help Green My City!

Unfortunately, there are currently no shingle recycling centers near you. The good news is, you can help us expand our network of contractors by showing your interest in this program. Just fill out this form to declare that you want to "green your city" and let us know if you want to be notified when a local contractor joins the program.

And if you want to move forward with your roofing project in the meantime, browse our list of qualified contractors near you. You can even request a quote using our form.

Together we can help improve your neighborhood and the planet!

Take the shingle recycling pledge & help green your city!
