Suppliers interested in pursuing procurement opportunities with Owens Corning and its affiliates are encouraged to:
- Become certified as a minority or woman-owned business enterprise with one or more of our recognized certification organizations
- Learn about doing business with large corporations by attending various seminars and workshops
- Understand Owens Corning’s business by reviewing the materials included on this web site
- Download our Minority Supplier Request For Information, complete and print the form and send it to us with copies of your certification documents. (Send it to the attention of Supplier Diversity, Owens Corning World Headquarters, One Owens Corning Parkway, Toledo, OH 43659, or e-mail it to SupplierDiversity@owenscorning.com.) Upon receipt of this form, your information will be entered into our supplier diversity database. If there is a sourcing opportunity for your industry specific business, you will be contacted to submit additional information.
Certification
Owens Corning requires proof of certification in order to be eligible for our program. We accept certification from the following organizations and their regional affiliates:
- National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
- Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
To qualify for participation in our Supplier Diversity Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a for-profit business that is at least 51-percent owned, managed and controlled by a minority or woman.
- Provide proof of certification from one of the organizations listed above.
- You must submit your certification within 30 days of completing your registration form and forward your documentation to Supplier Diversity, Owens Corning World Headquarters, One Owens Corning Parkway, Toledo, OH 43659, or e-mail it to SupplierDiversity@owenscorning.com.
