“We’ve served the local Grand Rapids community for more than 70 years and are proud to be family owned and operated, so this community has become like family to us,” said Ed Moore, Owner of Moore and Sons Roofing. “To know that we can make a huge impact on a veteran’s life right in our own town is an honor for all of us.”
Through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Kent County, John Rendak was selected as a recipient for this roof.
"Habitat for Humanity of Kent County is honored to partner with Owens Corning to work with veterans in our community," said Habitat Kent Executive Director BriAnne McKee. "Because of Owens Corning's donated product, a local veteran homeowner will find security with a new roof, leading to a more a stable future."
