Modern Exterior Systems is a women-owned, family-operated exterior contractor based in Eden Prairie, serving the Twin Cities metro as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor. Minnesota roofs take hail most summers and swing from -20°F to 90°F. Owens Corning Duration® Shingles with SureNail® Technology earns its keep here — the crew sees exactly where every nail lands, and it is harder for wind to peel a shingle in a spring storm. If your home sits in the hail corridor, we will walk you through the impact-resistant line and what a Class 4 rating does to your premium, usually a 10 to 30 percent discount, before you pick a shingle. We install roofing, siding, windows, and gutters. On a re-roof that matters: the crew on your shingles is the same crew handling flashing, venting, and gutters, where most leaks actually start. No coordinating three companies, and no finger-pointing if something leaks later. Our owner has 20+ years in construction and measures most jobs personally. Every homeowner gets a written, line-by-line quote, and every install carries a lifetime workmanship warranty. Most contractors stop at 5 or 10 years. BBB A+ rating. MN License #BC762305.
