Performance Attributes

EXCELLENT FIRE/FLEXURAL STRENGTH
EFFICIENT PROCESSING
ENHANCED GLASS FIBER CHARACTERISTICS
  • Excellent Fire/Flexural Strength

Engineered to provide fire resistance performance and meet regional building codes.

Improves flexural strength of wallboards for ease of handling and installation.

High strength characteristics to enhance abuse resistant wallboard systems.

  • Efficient Processing

Designed to improve higher-feed rate processes where the uniform glass dosage rate and dispersion reduces feed flow variations and causes clumps.

  • Enhanced Glass Fiber Characteristics

Advantex® glass helps fight corrosion, enhancing service life compared to standard E-glass.

Boron-free Advantex® glass contributes to decreased emissions, reduces the environmental impact of manufacturing fiberglass, and provides superior performance in corrosive environments compared to standard E-glass.

APPLICATIONS

790C is designed to provide strength and durability for gypsum wallboard reinforcement, fireboards, and both standard and high strength impact boards.
