Grace communicated quickly and with attention, they received good reviews, and were the least expensive, so they seemed like a safe bet.Grace efficiently removed most of the roof, left little impact on landscaping, and left the yard clean. The new roof went on quickly and they were done in a day. Most of the work appears to be well done, but there were a few issues that came up. All the issues I have seen are only on one side of the house, so the crew working on that side lacked appropriate attention to detail.Here's the issues that we ran into:-They had left parts of original shingles on near the drip edge at the front of the house. This has resulted in bulging of shingles and water & ice shield. Have had to come out twice now to remove leftover shingles, and there appears to be a third spot that will need to be addressed. Every time they pull up shingles and the water & ice shield to find and remove original shingles, I worry that it will compromise the performance of those components in the long term.-Part of the roof where old shingles were left, the shingles were recessed from the drip edge. The shingles are supposed to either be flush with the drip edge or have a slight over hang per Owens Corning. This also required repair.-Also cut the siding too short to install the new j-channel. This required a visit to move the j-channel to fix the issue since the siding is older architectural steel siding, so it cannot be replaced to fix.-Did not install a proper kickout flashing where the roof met siding on the house; had to come back and fix the deficient flashing to add the proper kickout flashing (also note, they had originally thrown out some of the siding they took off, until my wife made a comment that we need that siding!). Grace has responded and fixed the issues, but these are just too many issues due to carelessness (my guess: the rush to get the job done in one day). It was all on the front side of the house, so the individuals who worked on the front of the house did not take care to do the job properly. Therefore, while their price was good, I would recommend with heavy caution. It's taken time out of my days to make sure the issues are fixed. While they have fixed them, a few extra minutes to do it right the first time would have saved us all a bunch of time fixing the issues that are coming up.
