Top Side Roofing is a family owned and operated roofing company serving Oklahoma City and surrounding communities. Our company is built on more than 40 years of family experience in the construction industry, and we have carried that experience into building a roofing company focused on quality workmanship, honest communication, and taking care of homeowners the right way. Our mission is simple: protect Oklahoma homes with quality roofing systems while giving homeowners a better experience throughout the entire process. We believe a roofing project should be more than a sales transaction. Homeowners should understand what is happening with their roof, why repairs or replacement are recommended, what their options are, and what they are actually paying for. We are a certified FORTIFIED roofing contractor and have completed numerous FORTIFIED roofing projects both within and outside of the program. We have also worked with the program as its requirements and processes have evolved, giving our team hands on experience with the additional installation details and documentation involved with FORTIFIED roofing. FORTIFIED is a voluntary roofing and construction standard developed through the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety. The program focuses on strengthening vulnerable areas of a home so it can better withstand severe weather. FORTIFIED roofing can include additional requirements involving roof deck attachment, sealed roof decks, stronger edge details, enhanced flashing, and other measures depending on the designation and project. The work is also verified through a certified FORTIFIED Evaluator. For us, FORTIFIED is more than another certification to put on a website. It represents the type of roofing we believe in. Oklahoma homeowners deal with severe weather every year, and we believe their roofing system should be designed and installed with those conditions in mind. Our experience with FORTIFIED allows us to help homeowners understand what is involved when they want to take their roof beyond a standard replacement and build toward a higher level of storm resistance.
