For an efficient roofing system, it’s essential that the attic stay dry and cool. VentSure® Rigid Roll Ridge Vents with Weather PROtector® moisture barrier membrane protects against weather infiltration. Featuring a low profile, Rigid Roll uses a shingle-over construction for durability and protection.

When properly installed with soffit or eave vents, VentSure® Rigid Roll Ridge Vents meet or exceed requirements of all recognized national building codes. And they have passed all research and development tests** for weather infiltration:
  • Wind-driven rain – 8.8" of rain at 110 MPH**
  • Snow infiltration – snow simulation at 35 and 70 MPH**
As a key component of a VentSure® Balanced Air Ventilation System, the VentSure® Rigid Roll Ridge Vent is an essential part of the Total Protection Roofing System®^.

Ventilation Requirements

In order to create a consistent flow of cool, dry air through your attic, you need to make sure the air has a way to come in and go out: intake and exhaust. It’s important there is a balance between the intake and exhaust ventilation to help ensure air flows smoothly and efficiently.
