Owens Corning® Fiberglas™ Pipe Insulation is molded of heavy density resin bonded inorganic glass fibers that come in one-piece, 36" (914mm) long, hinged sections. Sections can be ordered as factory applied SSL II® with ASJ Max or as unjacketed No-Wrap.

Durability

The SSL II® positive closure system was designed with advanced adhesives to work specifically with the ASJ Max jacket to provide a tight, reliable seal that doesn’t need glue or staples. It also has a higher puncture resistance and less wicking/curling than standard ASJ.

Easy Installation

Mold and Mildew Resistance

Durable, cleanable, all-service-jacket with polymer film exterior surface doesn’t support mold or mildew growth.

This standard should be used to measure and describe the properties of materials, products or assemblies in response to heat and flame under controlled laboratory conditions and should not be used to describe or appraise the fire hazard or fire risk of materials, products or assemblies under actual fire conditions. However, results of this test may be used as elements of a fire risk assessment which takes into account all of the factors which are pertinent to an assessment of the fire hazard of a particular end use. Values are reported to the nearest 5 rating.

10. It is critical to have the right amount of intake ventilation and to adequately seal the attic floor to prevent pulling air from conditioned space.
